In the first photo, the sun finally came out and I was able to get outside to take a picture of the lake. A couple of our small carpets are so wet and heavy that I can't lift them up.

Wed. Nov 26th

Wow, just a couple of cloudbursts today and the wash in front of us is like a river. We really feel right at home now. The weather forecast calls for thunderstorms for today and tomorrow and then it is back to sun.

Tues. Nov. 25th

This photo shows Gord in the wash. He is going over to watch Ron and the rest of his foursome putt on number 5 on Tuesday. Ron is behind the bushes there somewhere.

We went golfing this afternoon and I took a photo from the 5th fairway that looks over to the motorhome. Ron was very excited as he got a par on this par 3!

Once again, we had a fabulous sunset, and the moon is full! KP

Windy and Dusty Nov.9

We are having one of the famous windy/dusty Yuma days. One of those days where you really have to just stay inside. While we were sitting here, a roadrunner hopped up on the fence and sat there long enough for me to get a good photo. As you can see, Ron has 3 pots of flowers and an herb pot.

November 4th

I finally got a photo of one of the pair of roadrunners that are in the wash just in front of us. They sure can move! Also took a shot of the beautiful sunset tonight. It was cooler today with a little wind. We went over to the driving range so Ron could practice.

Hallowe'en

Emma was a chicken for Hallowe'en and apparently did a very good chicken dance.

Sunday Nov. 2/08

It has been so hot since we arrived in Yuma, that we have spent a lot of afternoons at the casino, in a pub, or shopping, just to keep cool. The motor home really heats up nicely in the afternoon. We are facing north/south, so at least we have shade later on in the afternoon and if a breeze is blowing it is tolerable. We have a tv in one of the bins so we can sit outside in the evening and watch tv. We did not change to daylight saving time here in Arizona.

There are a few golfers out in the mornings now. I think we are going to the driving range on Thursday so Ron can "warm up" since he hasn't golfed since we left last spring.

It is so handy to have a washer and dryer in the shed on the lot.
